ABOUT SOAPC
The Society of Onco-Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care (SOAPC), established in 2018, is a prominent organization dedicated to advancing Onco- Anaesthesia in India. Since its inception, the society has grown to encompass over 500 members across 6 city branches in the country. SOAPC aims to enhance education, research, and best practices in the perioperative care of cancer patients. Bringing together anaesthesiologists, intensivists, pain and palliative care specialists involved in the care of cancer patients, SOAPC seeks to improve patient outcomes through innovative and evidence-based approaches. These initiatives include fortnightly webinars and fellowship courses in Onco-Anaesthesiology. Additionally, each city branch regularly conducts various academic activities. SOAPCCON, the society's annual academic extravaganza, gathers national and international experts in the field to share knowledge and advancements in Onco- Anaesthesia. Guidelines for SOAPCCON 2025
- An abstract is a summary of a research paper’s substance including its background, purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion
- It should be one paragraph with a word limit of 175-250.
- Keywords should be provided (no more than 06 words).
- Keywords should be written in lowercase letters (Not applicable to names/scientific names) and should be separated with commas.
- Please do not include bullets, lists and header/footer in the abstract.
- Abstract titles should be short, but descriptive. Informative titles, indicating key points are encouraged. Abbreviations should not be used in the title.
- Acronyms should be written in full the first time, mentioned in the text, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
- Always follow SI Units.
- Scientific names must be in Italic.
- There shall be no citations or references in the abstract specifically.

- Title: Times New Roman, 12 points, Upper case, Centred text in bold
- Body: Times New Roman, 11 points; Line spacing: 1
AFFILIATIONS
- Affiliations should be indicated with superscript Arabic numbers appearing at the end of name.
- A superscript asterisk should be used for the corresponding author.
- Names of affiliations should be given including the country.
- If there is more than one name and address, they should be related by superscript numbers.
For Example,
Surname Given name 1, Surname Given name 1* and Surname Given name 2

- Abstracts should represent the original work.
- Case reports / case series will also be accepted.
- Documents that do not conform to the guidelines will not be accepted.
- Entries received after the given deadline, due to any reason will not be accepted.
- The abstract should be submitted in the format of MS Word (.doc or .docx) document.
- Do not include references in the abstract

Registration Process
- Conference registration is mandatory to register for the workshop.
- Calculate the registration fee as per the tariff given below.

- Scanning QR code in UPI app
- Using UPI ID
- Using bank IFSC code and account details
- Note the transaction ID and take a screenshot of the transaction confirmation.
- Proceed to fill the registration form by clicking “Register” below.

Special Note to Post-graduates / Fellows
- Delegates registering as Post-graduates / Fellows must submit a bonafide certificate from the Head of the Department STATING THEIR COURSE COMPLETION DATE by email.
- Post-graduates / Fellows likely to finish their course by 31st July 2025 SHOULD REGISTER AS CONSULTANT.
- If such candidates register as PG / Fellows, the remaining registration fee must be paid to receive registration confirmation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- We wish to host all delegates in the conference. However, if a delegate is unable to attend the conference due to unavoidable circumstances, the payment would be refunded as per the policy below.
- Cancellation requests must be emailed in advance to soapccon2025@gmail.com
- 25% of the registration fee would be deducted for requests made up to April 30th, 2025.
- 50% of the registration fee would be deducted for requests made from May 1st to July 31st, 2025.
- No refund would be given for requests made after August 1st, 2025.
- The above refund would be on the conference registration fee. Workshop registration fee would not be refunded in any case.
- Refund would be made post-conference.>
